Who we are

What personal data we collect
We collect only the personal data you provide to us directly, and the minimum analytics data we need to understand how the website is used.
- Enquiry and quote information. Your name, email address, telephone number, property address, and any details or photographs you send with your enquiry.
- Correspondence records. The content of email, WhatsApp and telephone conversations with you, kept for the duration of our working relationship.
- Website analytics. Aggregated and anonymised information about pages visited, browser type and general region. No personally identifying information is used for analytics.
We do not use tracking pixels or behavioural advertising cookies. We do not build user profiles. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
Why we collect it and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and deliver the work you ask for. Legal basis: performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries.
- To comply with legal obligations. Including tax records, insurance claims, and regulatory requirements. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- To improve the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest, with anonymised data only.
How long we keep your data
- Enquiries that do not become projects: held only while we may reasonably need to refer back to them, then deleted.
- Project records for completed work: retained in line with HMRC, insurance and legal requirements for the statutory period applicable to business records in the United Kingdom.
- Website analytics: aggregate data only, retained as configured in our analytics tool.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate the business, and only to the extent necessary:
- Our email and WhatsApp service providers (to receive and reply to your enquiry).
- Google Analytics (anonymised website analytics).
- HMRC, our accountant, and our insurer when legally required.
We do not share personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for marketing purposes.
International transfers
Where a service provider processes data outside the UK or EEA (for example, Google Analytics in the United States), the transfer is covered by an approved safeguard such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (where legally possible).
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page will always reflect the latest version. Material changes will be communicated to active clients by email.
